Silk Tabi - Triple Black

Inspired by traditional Japanese Tabi socks and designed by alumni of Yeezy and Proenza Schouler, the ILYSM Tabi is the most comfortable statement shoe you’ve ever met. Its distinctive split-toe design is great for socially distancing your big toes from your other toes, and for setting yourself apart from the crowd.

Unlike regular shoes, which squeeze your toes and constrain your feet, the Tabi Sneakers split-toe design allows your feet and toes to move freely as nature intended them to, with better mobility, balance and comfort.

ILYSM puts our community and artists first. Our mission is to create and sell sustainable and alternative fashion (for statement makers and comfort lovers alike) that give us the means to support artists through collaboration and mutual aid. As a response to the COVID-19 crisis, we began offering a weekly $500 grant for artists in financial need. We funded the grants by diverting budgets from our daily operations, and we continued the grant for 14 weeks.

Upper: 25% recycled polyester, 36% polyester, 20% viscose, 14% spandex, 5% silk

Interior Lining: Tencel lyocell, from renewable wood pulp via sustainable processes

Insole: A layer of comfortable, renewable cork over two layers of recycled foam: a base layer of high-density foam for support, and a midlayer of springy foam for cushioning in a low-drop design.

Sole: Opaque solid black rubber for range of motion, traction, durability and comfort.

The Tabi runs true to size.  Please order true to size. If you size down, your foot will likely "fit" due to the upper's ability to stretch, but you may experience rubbing at the heel.

During this challenging time, we will be extending our returns period from 30 days after delivery to 60 days after delivery. If you need additional accommodations, please let us know and we'll do the best we can to accommodate!

Returns are accepted in clean, unworn condition. Please try on your tabis indoors on smooth clean surfaces.
